Westside Regional Recreation Society is a registered not-for-profit society dedicated to managing and maintaining Westside Recreation Centre as a self-sustaining facility.
The Centre specifically serves all communities within the boundary south of the Bow River, north of Glenmore Reservoir and west of Crowchild Trail to the western city limits. Westside is open to the general public from all areas.
Membership in the Westside Regional Recreational Society is open to individuals over eighteen years of age who support the objectives of the Society and are members in good standing with a community association within Westside Recreation Centre’s boundary area. Alternately, individuals who are interested in advancing the interests of the Society may be nominated for membership by a current Board member.
The Society’s annual membership fee is $10 and it holds an Annual General Meeting in November each year. More information on the Westside Regional Recreation Society is available by contacting the Executive Assistant at 403.531.5875 Ext 227.
Westside Regional Recreation Society accepts charitable donations and is able to provide charitable tax receipts through its partnership with The Parks Foundation Calgary.
