• Time Commitment for Youth Volunteers

  Youth volunteers at Westside are expected to commit to at least one 2-3 hour shift per week. There may also be additional chances to volunteer for special events throughout the year.

• Requirements for Youth Volunteers

  Youth volunteers are required to be 13 years of age unless they have taken the F.L.Y.- Fostering Leadership in Youth program. All of our Youth Volunteers are also required to obtain a minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR C, though some may choose to take the Standard First Aid.

  All of our Youth Volunteer positions will be partnered with a staff member for supervision.
