• Can I purchase a monthly membership?

  Westside does not offer monthly memberships.

  A discounted 10-visit pass or daily admission are available for individuals looking for options other than our annual membership.

• Is a membership payment plan available?

  Westside offers a 90-day payment plan for annual memberships.

  A minimum 40% downpayment is required immediately. Remaining fees, in a maximum of three installments, must be paid within 90 days of the purchase date and a $5.00 service charge is added to each installment.  A credit card number or post-dated cheques are required for the installment payments.

• Can I cancel my annual membership?

  Memberships are annual, non-refundable and non-transferable.

  Individuals may request membership cancellation for medical reasons with appropriate documentation.  Contact our Membership Coordinator for more information.

• Can I share or transfer my membership to another person?

  Memberships cannot be shared or transferred between parties - only you can use your card.

  Remember to protect your card and report loss immediately to Customer Service at 403.531.5875 Ext 0.

• Do you sell family memberships?

  Westside's membership fees are set to provide the best value possible. While we do not have a set family membership price, once an adult has purchased a membership, dependent memberships can also be purchased at a deeply discounted price.

  This type of fee structure adds up to a family membership rate, while providing a cost break for single parent families and families with more than two children.

• Will my membership be extended for a facility area closure?

  Regular maintenance is important to providing safe, healthy recreation facilities for all members and guests. Both planned and unscheduled maintenance occurs as part of our regular operations.  Shutdown periods vary by amenity.  Reduced schedules or activities may occur in some areas while others may require complete closure.

  Memberships are not extended or refunded for these events.

• What is the FitLinxx system orientation?

  FitLinxx™ is a computerized tracking system that allows you to record your workout and provides valuable information to you.

  Adult members of all fitness levels are encouraged to take advantage of the FitLinxx™ orientation provided by one of our Fitness consultants.  Contact the Fitness Reception Desk at 403.531.5875 Ext 237 for more information.
