Jason G. is Westside’s Volunteer of the Month! He’s a valued part of the team who volunteers with day camp, Leisure Ice activities, and aquatics programs.
Jason is a high school student who enjoys working with people of all ages and is especially happy seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when they’re participating in activities that Westside staff and volunteers have created. “Volunteering has helped me learn to work with others, develop clear communication skills, and given me patience when teaching children new games” he says. “It’s also given me experience and leadership skills I can use when looking for future jobs.”
In his spare time, Jason enjoys cross country running and playing the clarinet in band and a wind symphony. Westside really values having him as a volunteer!
